How has HANNOVER MESSE, as the leading global technology event, kept pace with the rapidly changing scenario in the wake of digitalisation?

HANNOVER MESSE’s lead theme, ‘Industrial Transformation – Energizing a Sustainable Industry’, sets the focus on an industrial ecosystem where exhibiting companies demonstrate how automation, digitalisation and electrification enable competitiveness and climate neutrality. The Digital Ecosystems exhibition area at HANNOVER MESSE highlights tools and solutions for a digitally networked industry and features applications and use cases in areas such as smart machine networking, digital supply chains and data-driven business models.

What are the new features visitors can expect at HANNOVER MESSE 2025, and how will they enhance the overall attendee experience?

New highlights for visitors include our masterclasses and a dynamic tour about the topic ‘AI in Industry’. At the Masterclasses, industry experts provide visitors with detailed information about various trend topics in industry. The app-based dynamic tour guides visitors to specific stations in the exhibition halls where they can experience various AI applications. We also organise guided tours for topics such as digital twins, IT/OT security, Manufacturing X, and quantum technology. We offer a welcome service for business delegations that helps group organisers plan invitations and accommodations as well as participation in the conference program, networking events and guided tours.

What opportunities will HANNOVER MESSE 2025 provide for startups, scale-ups, and innovators to present their solutions and connect with industry leaders?

Startups are important for industry because they drive innovation, improve agility and promote competition. Their solutions make an enormous contribution to industry’s digital and sustainable transformation. Our Startup Area in Hall 2 at HANNOVER MESSE showcases more than 300 startups surrounded by leading R&D companies and institutions. The Industrial Startup Stage, also in Hall 2, generates enthusiasm for new ideas with a lively mix of pitches, talks and presentations.

How is HANNOVER MESSE supporting the industrial sector's transition to a more sustainable and environmentally friendly future?

At HANNOVER MESSE, visitors learn how innovative solutions for climate-neutral manufacturing turn challenges into opportunities and lead to a globally competitive and sustainable industry. Exhibiting companies provide clear guidance on how to use technologies such as automation, artificial intelligence, robotics, robust energy systems, and green hydrogen to catalyse industrial transformation. Our conference program encourages knowledge sharing across a wide range of topics.

What opportunities will HANNOVER MESSE 2025 provide for international cooperation, collaboration, and knowledge sharing among industrial stakeholders?

HANNOVER MESSE is a global hub for industrial collaboration. Our exhibit and conference programs bring together top decision-makers from not only industry, but also business and politics. For example, roughly 62 percent of visitors influence purchasing decisions at their companies. We also host more than 300 political and economic delegations every year. Partner Country Canada is another good example: At HANNOVER MESSE 2025, more than 200 companies from Canada will present the country’s innovative strength in areas such as automation, energy, digital transformation, and green technology. The exhibit area ‘International Trade & Investment’ in Hall 12 promotes investment and cooperation with countries, regions, cities, and business development organisations.

What efforts is Deutsche Messe undertaking to attract a diverse range of international exhibitors, visitors, and partners to HANNOVER MESSE 2025?

We conduct an extensive global communications campaign to promote HANNOVER MESSE. We organise press conferences and roadshows outside of Germany that inform the media, visitors and exhibitors about current trends and innovations that they will experience in Hannover. We also stage events about topics that are particularly relevant for industrial transformation, such as our Industrial AI Conference on 22 January 2025 in Frankfurt and our 3minutes2talk pitches for a global hydrogen economy on 24 February 2025 in Berlin. Our global network of representatives promotes HANNOVER MESSE worldwide with a mix of marketing, public relations and sales activities. And of course we communicate continuously on digital channels that include our website (www.hannovermesse.com), social media, newsletters, and topic-specific e-briefings.
