National Productivity Summit 2022 –Showcasing Excellence in Manufacturing

IMTMA is organising the 16th edition of National Productivity Summit on 18-19 November 2022 at BIEC, Bangalore.
Bengaluru, November 03, 2022: The resurgence of the Indian manufacturing sector has opened new avenues for business growth. With the growing convergence of physical and digital manufacturing worlds, companies are constantly challenged to innovate in all spheres of their business so as to reduce costs through productivity improvement measures, sustain growth and remain competitive.
To champion the cause of productivity in the Indian manufacturing industry, the Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers' Association (IMTMA) is organising the 16th edition of National Productivity Summit on 18-19 November 2022 at BIEC, Bangalore. The event showcases best practices in manufacturing through enriching keynotes, live case study presentations and plant visits.
The event will feature 6 plant visits to Ashok Leyland, TVS Motor Company, SEG Automotive, Continental Automotive Components, Indo-MIM and Tractor and Farm Equipment (TAFE), a day preceding the summit, on 17 November 2022, which will give delegates an opportunity to witness best practices in manufacturing and productivity improvements on the shop floor.
This summit will provide an excellent opportunity for participating delegates to listen to industry leaders on various aspects of increasing competitiveness in the manufacturing industry. At the Inaugural session on 18 Nov 2022, Dr Gopichand Katragadda, Founder & CEO, Myelin Foundry will be the Guest of Honour and will deliver the inaugural keynote address on “AI and Industrial IoT: The Last Mile. The Summit will also feature keynote presentations by Dr S Devarajan, Sr Vice President, TVS Motor Company Limited, on "Paradigm shifts in manufacturing and supply chain in lieu of technological Developments”, and by Mr M S Shankar, President, Future Mobility (Innovation & Technology), Anand Group, on Productivity - Innovating Sustainably
Leading manufacturing companies, viz., Bharat Electronics Limited, Bosch, Hero Motocorp- Alwar plant, Hero Motocorp-Haridwar plant, Hitachi Astemo, Kasturi Foundry, Kirloskar Oil Engines, Larsen & Toubro, Mahindra & Mahindra, Tata Motors, Associated Plasmatron, JPF Metacast and Mekhos Technology Services will present their case studies, which will vie for the IMTMA-ACE Micromatic Productivity Championship Awards 2022, which gives away cash prizes worth Rs 10 lakh to the winners, at a glittering presentation ceremony on 19 November 2022.
Over 400 professionals from a wide cross section of the manufacturing industry, comprising of CEOs, Top management executives, Senior executives and Practicing engineers from diverse industries such as Automotive, Auto components, Die & Mould, Consumer durables, Machine tool, Tool rooms, Aerospace, General Engg and other discrete manufacturing industries are expected to attend the summit.
